Be a problem Solver
Recently I read the story on Wikipedia Encyclopaedia of how the Mary Kay cosmetics range came about. To my utter amazement, I discovered that the founder of the product, Mary Kay Ash did not start out to market cosmetics but stumbled into it when she got fed up with the gender discrimination in her work place as she was by- passed during a promotion exercise in favour of a man she trained. In an effort to change the sex discrimination in the work place in the favour of women, she decided to write a book. Alas, the same book turned out to be a blueprint or business plan for her dream business.
Two things struck me in the course of reading the story: (1) Mary Kay got fed up of her circumstance. (2) She set out to solve the problem many women of her time faced – discrimination.
Therefore, I came to a conclusion that if I am fed up with my result I must change my seed and instead of bemoaning my frustration, I should seek for ways to stop my frustration as well as help others who may be going through the same type or another type of frustration. Devote your time of frustration to sorting out other people’s need, you will discover not only answers to your problems but also you will discover your talent. In my Book: Break Your fallow Ground, the Lord said to me that the ‘discovery of your talent will lead to your manifestation’ since ‘a man’s gift make room for him and brings him before great men’
Jesus came as a problem solver and met the needs of many and today God has so highly exalted Him above every name ever named. The day you begin to remove your focus from your inadequacies, lack, failures, marital woes, and financial struggles and seek for ways to begin to meet the needs of others you begin to live and trigger your journey to manifestation. The secret to your manifestation is in giving out what you have! Dorcas in the Bible spent her time meeting needs and at the end of the day, at death, her good works brought her back to life. Do you want your situation to change? Then start meeting the need of others.
The miracle you are seeking for is within you. The word for you is; Look within you, start sorting out your needs of your neighbourhood. Start doing things that meet other people’s need. Stop celebrating your problems and begin to meet a need of this generation and I assure you, your generation shall hear of you!
