It is a place of prayer and sacrifice. In Gen 8:20 Noah was the first man to build an altar and then Abraham.

Your Altar is your connection to God. If you cannot conquer your flesh you cannot conquer the world. If your altar is broken down you need to repair it. If you have an altar your flesh will be dead. If you have an altar you will become like Jesus.

Once your altar is repaired the fir will fall as in the days of Elijah. If you want God to show up in your life you have to repair your altar.
